Cancellation & Refunds
The 14-day free trial is your risk-free test drive. Once you subscribe, the current month is yours to use — and we don't refund it. Cancellation stops future billing immediately and you keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for.
1. The free trial
- New tenants get 14 days free. No payment method required to start.
- You can use every paid feature during the trial, with one exception: subscription billing itself.
- If you don't subscribe before the trial ends, your account moves to a read-only "trial expired" state. Data is retained for 30 days; after that it may be permanently deleted.
- Each individual or organization is entitled to one trial. See the Acceptable Use Policy.
2. How subscriptions work
- The rate is $24.99 per active location per calendar month, billed in U.S. dollars by PayPal.
- "Active location" means a non-archived location row in your tenant on the billing date. Locations you archive before the next billing date are not counted.
- The subscription auto-renews each month until you cancel.
- Billing changes (e.g., adding a location) take effect on the next renewal date. We do not mid-cycle prorate.
3. How to cancel
- Sign in and open the Admin panel.
- Go to the Company tab.
- In the Billing card, click Cancel subscription and confirm.
PayPal is notified automatically. You'll receive a confirmation email. You can also cancel directly from your PayPal account at paypal.com/myaccount/autopay; both paths arrive at the same result on our side.
4. Refunds
The single exception: if you were charged due to a clear billing error on our part (for example, double-charged on the same day, or charged after a confirmed cancellation), email customer.service@0xpi.com with the PayPal transaction ID and we will refund the erroneous charge within 5 business days.
Disputes about whether a charge is "erroneous" are decided in good faith by us. If you're unhappy with our determination, PayPal's Buyer Protection process is independent of these Terms.
5. What happens to your data
- While the subscription is active: all features available.
- Cancelled but within the paid period: all features available through the period end.
- Paid period ended: your account moves to read-only. You can sign in, view your inventory, and export your audit log as CSV or PDF. You cannot add or change records.
- 30 days after the paid period ends: your data may be permanently deleted. If you want immediate deletion sooner, email customer.service@0xpi.com.
Export before you cancel. CSV / PDF audit-log export and CSV inventory export are available from the app. Do this before your read-only window closes.
6. Failed payments
- If PayPal fails to charge your method, the subscription moves to a past_due state. You'll receive an email.
- You have 3 retry attempts across approximately 7 days. During this time the service remains available.
- If all retries fail, the subscription is suspended and the account moves to read-only with the standard 30-day retention window.
- Updating your payment method in PayPal will resume the subscription automatically on the next retry or the next renewal cycle.
7. Price changes
We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice by email to active subscribers. If you don't want to continue at the new price, cancel before the effective date and you will not be charged the new rate.
Existing subscribers may be grandfathered at their current rate; we'll say so in the announcement when that's the case.
8. Trial-to-paid conversion
The trial does not auto-convert to a paid subscription. You must explicitly click Subscribe with PayPal in the Billing tab and complete PayPal's approval flow to start being charged. No card means no surprise bill.
