VelocityEHS (MSDSonline) Pricing in 2026: What It Costs and How to Get a Price
Short answer: VelocityEHS does not publish a price for SDS Management, the product it describes as “formerly MSDSonline”. On October 11, 2026 its site offered two ways in: request a demo (the chemical management demo is a 30-minute session tailored to your needs) or open a free SDS trial account that lets you download up to 5 SDSs. Services such as SDS library build and SDS authoring are priced by request a quote. We do not estimate VelocityEHS’s prices; the only reliable number is the quote they give you.
Free, no signup: the OSHA HazCom self-audit at sdsentry.0xpi.com/hazcom-self-audit.html scores your Hazard Communication program against 29 CFR 1910.1200 in about two minutes and names the specific gaps.
What VelocityEHS publishes about price (checked October 11, 2026)
- No price list. We found no pricing page and no price on ehs.com, including in its page sitemap. The SDS Management page has two buttons: “SDS Free Trial” and “Get a Demo”.
- Demo. The chemical management demo request is described as a “30-minute session. Tailored to your needs.” and asks for a business email, phone, company and job title.
- Free SDS trial account. The SDS free trial page offers: search the SDS database, download up to 5 SDSs at no cost, save them to a personal eBinder, secure online access from any device. “One free account per company. Business email is required.” The Chemical Management page links to it as a “free 5-day SDS trial”.
- Services by quote. SDS library build, SDS authoring and other SDS services each have their own “request a quote” page on ehs.com.
So “MSDSonline pricing” today means a VelocityEHS quote. If you see a specific MSDSonline price quoted elsewhere online, it did not come from VelocityEHS’s own site on the day we checked.
What a VelocityEHS quote can cover
Everything below is from VelocityEHS’s own pages, checked October 11, 2026:
- SDS Management (formerly MSDSonline) — an auto-updating SDS library, online and offline mobile right-to-know access, GHS-aligned workplace labels printed from SDS data, and location-based SDS binders.
- The wider Chemical Management suite — Chemical Inventory Management, Emergency Response Services, Ingredient Indexing, GHS Secondary Labeling and Regulatory Reporting (cross-checking against 100+ regulatory lists, and EPCRA Tier II and TRI/Form R support), plus login-free SDS access by QR code.
- Services — on-site chemical audit, SDS library build, SDS authoring, emergency response and regulatory consulting.
- Support — implementation and onboarding, remote or onsite user training, hosting support and a customer success team.
- The Accelerate® platform — the site says you can “mix and match 24+ EHS products” on one platform.
VelocityEHS cites 12,000+ chemical management customers, 8M+ searchable SDS documents and 20K+ new and updated sheets added each week (the vendor’s own figures).
Questions that make a VelocityEHS quote comparable
- Is the price per location, per user, per SDS, or a platform fee? What happens when you add a site or a product?
- Which modules are in the quote — SDS management only, or labels, inventory, training and reporting too?
- Are there implementation, onboarding or library-build fees on top of the subscription?
- What is the contract term, does it auto-renew, and what is the notice period to cancel?
- Can frontline employees reach the sheets without their own login, and offline?
VelocityEHS vs SDSentry on price
SDSentry publishes its price on its home page: $24 per location per month or $199 per location per year — an OSHA-deadline price (regularly $49) that stays locked for as long as you subscribe if you start by November 20, 2026. Unlimited users and no SDS cap at each location. The 7-day free trial needs a card ($0 today) and converts to paid unless you cancel.
It covers the US Hazard Communication paperwork a small employer is asked for: multi-source SDS lookup plus your own uploads, a per-location chemical inventory, GHS secondary-container labels, workplace posters, the written HazCom program, per-product training with e-signatures, OSHA 300 recordkeeping, EPCRA Tier II export, and a no-login Shared SDS Binder that works offline.

When VelocityEHS is the better choice
If you run a large or multi-site EHS program and want chemical management alongside safety, ergonomics, contractor safety, industrial hygiene and environmental compliance on one platform; if you need regulatory reporting against international lists, ingredient indexing or 24/7 chemical emergency response; if you want SDSs authored by experts; or if you want a long-established vendor with dedicated onboarding and onsite training — VelocityEHS is built for that, and a quote is the normal way to buy it. SDSentry does none of that: it is a young product, built and run by one developer, that keeps the small-employer HazCom essentials simple at a published price. More detail is in our VelocityEHS alternatives guide.
