SDS Manager Pricing (2026): What It Costs at Every Library Size

Prices checked October 10, 2026 on sdsmanager.com/us/pricing

Short answer: SDS Manager prices by the number of safety data sheets in your library. There is a free plan for up to 200 SDSs. Paid plans for a 100-SDS library are Basic $19, Premium $39 and Pro $59 per month, billed annually ($23 / $47 / $71 billed monthly), rising as the library grows. Prices are shown without tax, there is no extra fee for users or locations, and the trial is 30 days with no credit card. All figures below are as SDS Manager published them on October 10, 2026.

The compliance difference. HazCom was OSHA's #2 most-cited standard in fiscal 2025 (3,010 citations), and a serious violation can be fined up to $16,550. In 138 federal HazCom citations we reviewed, 91% of the penalty dollars were cited under the written-program (e) and training (h) paragraphs, the two things most SDS software leaves out. OSHA HazCom (29 CFR 1910.1200) asks an employer for five things: a written program, a chemical list, workplace labels, SDS access without barriers, and training. SDSentry does all five in one system, including a written HazCom program generated from your own chemical inventory. SDS Manager's own site does not show a written HazCom program in the product (it offers blog templates), sells training as a separate Safety Training product, and puts no-login QR access on Premium and up. SDS Manager vs SDSentry on price

SDSentry charges per location, not per sheet: $24 per location per month or $199 per location per year, with unlimited users and no SDS cap (an OSHA-deadline price, regularly $49, locked for as long as you subscribe if you start by November 20, 2026). The 7-day free trial needs a card ($0 today). So which is cheaper depends on two numbers — how many sheets you keep and how many sites you run:

Price is not the only difference. SDSentry includes the rest of OSHA Hazard Communication in the one price — GHS secondary labels, workplace posters, the written HazCom program, per-product training with e-signatures, OSHA 300 logs, EPCRA Tier II export, and a no-login Shared SDS Binder that works offline. SDS Manager has a far larger library (17M+ SDSs searchable, per its site), many languages, and authoring and EHS products if you need them. The full side-by-side is in our SDS Manager alternative guide.

Frequently asked questions

How much does SDS Manager cost?

Per SDS Manager’s US pricing page, checked October 10, 2026: a free plan for up to 200 safety data sheets; then, for a 100-SDS library, Basic $19, Premium $39 and Pro $59 per month billed annually, or $23, $47 and $71 per month billed monthly. Prices rise with the number of SDSs in your library (for example $23 / $56 / $84 per month billed annually at 200 SDSs) and are shown without tax.

What does SDS Manager charge for extra users or locations?

Nothing extra, according to SDS Manager: its pricing is based solely on the number of safety data sheets you manage, with no additional fees for administrative users or extra locations. Custom pricing is available for organizations with a large number of sites.

Does SDS Manager have a free trial?

Yes. The pricing page offers a 30-day free trial with no credit card; it ends automatically and a paid subscription starts only if you place an order. SDS Manager also states there is no lock-in period, and you can change your plan size with a prorated charge.

Is SDS Manager cheaper than SDSentry?

It depends on library size and number of sites. For one location, SDS Manager’s free plan (up to 200 SDSs) costs nothing, and its Basic plan for 100 SDSs is $228 a year billed annually versus SDSentry’s $199 per location per year. Because SDS Manager does not charge per location, it can cost less than SDSentry for several sites sharing a small library. SDSentry’s price stays flat as the library grows and includes the written HazCom program, training records, OSHA 300 logs and Tier II export.
